Director of Sponsorships & Grassroots Marketing

NYC Sports has been featured in the NY Times and ESPN for offering innovative corporate team building and youth activity programs. Our Corporate clients include over 40 Fortune 100 firms including Amazon, Google, IBM, and Barclays.

Our Youth Programs work with municipalities, schools, non-for-profits, celebrity athletes (e.g NY Knick Kristaps Porzingis) and 1000s of families to provide a wide range of top quality youth programs and unforgettable experiences.

Our youth offerings are rapidly expanding and we need to hire an extremely passionate and talented individual to join our team as our Director of Sponsorship & Grassroots Marketing. In this role you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities

  • Help lead all efforts to attract Sponsors for over 100+ camps and events per year
  • Make all sponsor decks and help lead process to generate sponsorship revenue
  • Manage sponsor partner relationships day to day
  • Help source new revenue generation opportunities from sponsor partners
  • Manage agency relationships day to day and help lead player acquisition efforts
  • Lead on site sponsorship activation team at events
  • Help lead grassroots marketing efforts for events
  • Represent company at leading events & conferences

We are looking for an A+ player who is passionate about our mission of making sure every child has convenient access to 1st class after school programs and summer camps. In this role you will have the opportunity to shape your own department and you will be the owner of all things relating to professional athlete partnerships , sponsorships, and the execution of grassroots marketing at camps and events.

Compensation will include a base salary and a generous commission structure with unlimited upside. This is an entrepreneurial position and the successful candidate can expect to earn significantly more than the industry standard for similar positions. If possible, please send sponsorship decks you have worked on or anything else that will demonstrate your ability to generate sponsorship revenue. Experience in the sports industry is also a plus but it is not required.

Director of Partner Development

Our youth offerings are rapidly expanding and we need to hire an extremely passionate and talented individual to join our team as our Director of Partners Development. In this role you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to partner with facilities in the NYC Tri-State area.
  • Lead all efforts to partner with coaches and teachers that will lead programs we offer.
  • Create partnership agreements and negotiate final terms with facilities, teachers, and coaches.
  • Hire, train, and lead a team of business development associates.
  • Manage relationships with key partners.
  • Help source new revenue and other opportunities from existing Partnerships.
  • Help develop strategies to improve partnership performance.
  • Represent company at sports, recreation, and camp industry events and conferences around the country.

Director of Sales

Our youth offerings are rapidly expanding and we need to hire an extremely passionate and talented individual to join our team as our Director of Sales. In this role you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to sell NYC Sports programs to corporations and consumers in the NYC Tri-State area.
  • Help lead efforts to optimize crm, phone systems, analytics and all aspects of our sales infrastructure.
  • Hire, train, and lead a team of sales associates.
  • Help source new revenue and other opportunities from existing customers.
  • Help develop strategies to improve sales performance.
  • Represent company at sports, recreation, and camp industry events and conferences around the country.

We are looking for an A+ player who is passionate about our mission of making sure every child has convenient access to 1st class after school programs and summer camps. In this role you will have the opportunity to shape our sales department and you will be the owner of all things relating to our sales performance.

Compensation will include a base salary and a generous commission structure with unlimited upside. This is an entrepreneurial position and the successful candidate can expect to earn significantly more than the industry standard for similar positions. Candidates must have at least 1-2 years experience selling, hiring and training sales reps, and leading a sales team. Experience in the sports industry is also a plus but it is not required.
